We buy, renovate, rent and sell investment properties in South Manchester - a particular area we chose to invest in after researching opportunities throughout the UK. We believe in Manchester’s potential as a growing economic strength.

Peter Armistead

Managing Director

Peter is a property developer, a businessman and an entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Manchester, qualified as a lawyer and worked as solicitor in London for 6 years. In 2001 he left the law to set up Armistead Property and has since bought, sold and developed over 500 apartments in South Manchester. As well as winning several prizes for his development work, Peter has also written 3 books on property development - one of which is an Amazon international best seller. Peter is an avid skier and a competitive mountain runner with podium results in 50mile, 75mile and 100+mile races.

Deborah Ross

Director (Design)

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She is the recipient of multiple design awards, with particular expertise in private and multi-family residential projects. Her experience also extends to design of sales centres, corporate offices, and hospitality spaces. Born in London and raised Vancouver Canada she enjoys life in the mountains and on the ocean.

Sean Dunn

Lettings

Sean joined Armistead Property in 2011 as head of property management. After starting his career in banking, Sean moved into property and has now worked in property sales and lettings for over 28 years. Having been based in Chorlton all of his property career he has an unparalleled knowledge of the local area. Sean is a keen photographer and a passionate football fan who enjoys watching and playing sport of all kinds.

Pete Sammon

Director (Finance)

Pete has degrees in both Medicine and Physiology from the University of Edinburgh and spent 5 years working in hospital medicine before moving into property finance. Born in South Africa, raised in Kenya and fortunate to have travelled widely, Pete has a broad range of interests including a passion for all mountain sports. He holds course records at a number of 25-50km mountain running races.

Simon James

Architect

Simon James (RIBA ARB COAM) is a multi award-winning international architect who has worked most of his career in his own practice with projects in both the UK and in Spain. Having qualified from Manchester School of Architecture in 1992, Simon has over 25 years of experience in architecture, design and construction. He has worked with varied clients and team sizes to complete numerous residential, retail, education, office and leisure projects, whilst also finding time to teach for a number of years at the Manchester School of Architecture.
